Envisaged by landscape designer Paul Gazerwitz and inspired by the organic shapes of nature, the flower meadow hugs the glasshouse, the kitchen garden and any visitor to the gardens with a colourful and ever-changing display of wildflowers and herbaceous plants.

Wildflowers provide a habitat for insects. They offer them shelter and places to breed and feed them with their leaves, pollen and nectar. In return, insects pollinate the wildflowers, enabling them to develop seeds and spread them to grow in other places.

The meandering path running across the meadow symbolises the seasons and allows visitors to engage with its different areas and fully immerse themselves in it, encouraging an exploration and discovery of the symbiotic relationship between plants and our health.

A treat for the senses
