Introducing 'Alchemy', an exhibition and programme of events in collaboration with Thrown for London Craft Week

In collaboration with specialist craft gallery THROWN, we are thrilled to introduce ‘Alchemy’, an exhibition curated for London Craft Week 2024 that presents the work of 11 artists and makers whose work celebrates the union of human creativity and the natural world.

‘Alchemy’ brings together works in ceramics, mixed media and print-making by artists Kim Colebrook, Tim Copsey, Diane Griffin, Rosalind Hobley, María Ignacia Walker, Alice McCabe, Victoria Louise Meadows, Faith Mowbray, Esther Palmer, Jo Pearl and Marek Pitera.

The exhibition revolves around process, and human’s creativity to transform material and work with nature in ways that express our deep entwinement with the more-than-human.

'Alchemy’ will open at OmVed Gardens on Saturday 11th May and run until Sunday 26th May 2024 (open Wednesday-Saturday 11am-5pm, Sunday 12pm-5pm). Admission is free and all artwork will be available to purchase.

Running alongside the exhibition, we have devised an exciting programme of events including artist talks, craft workshops, musical evenings and a supper club, exploring the theme from different perspectives. To check the programme and register for the events, visit this page.
